The fourth season of High Schoo DxD is going to air in a month! According to Media Factory's earlier announcement, the new season is officially titled High School DxD Hero and is going to be released in April 2018.

Plot summary:

Issei, the perverted high school student, always dreams of having his harem one day, but instead of reaching his simple goal, he gets killed on his first date by a vicious angel. However, this unfortunate event instead of being the end of his story, it brings a new beginning as he gets reincarnated as a devil to serve as Rias Gremory's, the top-class devil's underling. Then the story revolves around the ongoing fights between angels and demons, with some mysterious forces taking action in the background, but most of the moments turn out to be perverted and hilarious situations Issei gets dragged into. Will our romantic hero lose his soul (and his virginity) to his busty master in the end? Can he keep his secret from his family and friends? You know that there is only one way to find out!

The previous seasons of High School DxD were produced by TNK and directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa. However, this new season will have an all-new staff. The ecchi light novel was first released in 2008 and has 23 volumes available so far.
