The 2nd Season of Mob Psycho 100 Got Announced During Special Screening Event

Studio BONES is producing the anime once again, the cast members and the production staff will reprise their roles.

After a highly-acclaimed first season, ONE's popular web manga, Mob Psycho 100 returns for a second season. During the special screening event of Mob Psycho 100 Reigen: Shirarezaru Kiseki no Reinouryokusha (Mob Psycho 100 Reigen: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic) was announced that Mob Psycho 100 had received the green light for the second season on the 18th of March.

Though not much information was shared on the upcoming second season of Mob Psycho 100, what we know is that Studio BONES is producing the anime once again. Also, the cast members and the production staff will reprise their roles.

Plot summary:

Shigeo Kageyama is an average middle school student. For his lacking sense of presence, the nickname "Mob" has stuck to him. A book shouldn't be judged by its cover, Kageyama is also more than what he looks on the outside, as he is, in fact, a powerful esper. By the time, Mob's powers started to grow and getting more unstable and dangerous at the same time. Therefore to avoid getting out of control, he constantly suppresses his own emotions. Mob wishes for an average life, but trouble follows his every step. His emotions are on the verge of overload, and dark and mysterious organization with similar powers start to appear around the gifted boy.

Mob Psycho 100, ONE'S (One Punch Man) popular web manga began publication on Ura Sunday on April 18, 2012. Shogakukan began publishing the series in tankōbon volumes, with the first volume released on the 16th of November, 2012. The final chapter got released on the 22nd of December, 2017. The first season of the anime adaptation of 12 episodes was produced by Bones and aired from the 11th of July, 2016.
